Prior to teaching, I worked as a program assistant at The Headwaters Science Center.  Located near the headwaters of the Mississippi River in downtown Bemidji, Minnesota, Headwaters Science Center is a non-profit facility under a parent organization called Opportunities in Science, Inc.  HSC is dedicated to science education and environmental awareness.
